DB Kidd Transport was founded in 1992 by Mark and Debbie Kidd. We specialize in transporting heavy equipment, rigs, camp and shack buildings, and more. We operate throughout Western Canada, serving many industries that operate around Fort McMurray, Alberta, and Western Canada.
Our fleet consists of more than 40 vehicles and 50 trailers designed to handle a wide range of heavy loads.
We understand that our customers are our most important asset. That’s why we take pride in raising the bar for customer satisfaction on every job we take, while also holding ourselves to the highest standards of safety.

Mark Kidd is the co-owner of DB Kidd Transport and brings over 40 years of experience in the trucking industry, specializing in winch truck operations. He has extensive knowledge in equipment rescue and recovery and is widely recognized for his expertise in equipment hauling—a testament to his skill, dedication, and long-standing commitment to the field.

Debbie Kidd is the co-owner and certified Safety Officer of DB Kidd Transport. Since the company’s founding, she has ensured that safety remains the top priority in all operations. In addition to her safety leadership, Debbie oversees the company’s day-to-day administrative functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).

Jacqueline is our Office Manager and Payroll Administrator, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations at DB Kidd Transport. With over 25 years of experience with the company, she brings deep knowledge of our fleet management and heavy haul administrative processes, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Justin is a Supervisor at DB Kidd Transport, bringing over 20 years of industry experience. He has extensive knowledge of all aspects of fleet operations and is recognized as one of the top Bed Truck drivers in the region. Whether it’s hauling equipment, moving camp, or relocating a rig, Justin plays a key role in ensuring each job is done safely and efficiently.

Philanthropy
We believe in giving back to our community. Fort McMurray has been our home for a long time and we want to be able to give back to our community. We have made several donations to local causes such as STARS, who with enough support could save a lot of lives and really make a difference in the health and safety of this community.
We have also co-sponsored the 2011 Volunteer Recognition Event for the United Way. The work they do in this community is without boundaries, and, with over 2000 volunteers, they are the cog that makes the big wheel spin. With over 60 programs supported locally, this is a noble organization, with a heart of gold. DB Kidd Transport is proud to be able to contribute to the success of our residents and the United Way.
We also sponsored the Sno-Drifters group in 2011, who have the same respect for safety that we do. They provide a safe, fun environment in Fort McMurray, keeping trails clean and safe. We are proud to partner with them.
Philanthropy on Community Sports
At DB Kidd Transport, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to participate in sports, regardless of their financial situation. DB Kidd Transport has been a big supporter over the years with numerous community kids’ sports programs, Fort McMurray Minor Hockey Association, Fort McMurray Girls Fury Competitive Soccer program, The Fort McMurray Oil Giants baseball team. Together we support these teams with travel expenses, apparel, extra ice, or field times. We recognize that kids involved in sports at a young age develop different life skills for their future and social interactions.
Philanthropy on the Communities SPCA
We at DB Kidd Transport are huge animal lovers. Every animal deserves a life and opportunity to be happy. We have supported our local SPCA over the years with Food Donations. DB Kidd Transport yearly donates charitable contributions. We help to strive to ensure that our local shelter and animals get what they need.
